It’s almost night, full moon in the sky. The harvest day is already concluded, the soil smells like moisture and the farmer puts back his scissors. In the dark of the vineyard, the light coming from the full moon reflects the pruning shears’ metal, making them the protagonists of this nocturnal scenery. An element, which has never been exalted by the most, maybe because it is considered too simple, instead, it represents for us the one and only vehicle between humans and nature, between the farmer’s effort and the grape harvest’s fruits. Pruning shears represent time and memories related to the day just spent in the vineyards.

The concept of the passage from a moment of effort to a moment of rest brought us to the creation of Verso Sera, which means “Early in The Evening”. A new high-end line of wines with a dedicated naming. Through the use of a symmetrical and clean style, the packaging recounts the natural elements protagonists of a traditional end-of-day in the vineyards. The nocturnal scenery is represented by the black paper made of natural cotton, glued to a velvet circle, which embodies, on one side, a lunar eclipse and, on the other side, the wine grape.

The choice of using velvet is not random. The smoothness of this material relates to the tactile perception of black grape as well as its elegance. The pruning shears are made of metal alloy and automatically glued on the label as a miniature replica.
