This design uses burnt paper as an overture to the spectacle of Etna. This project for Vuciata was created to tell the story of the splendour of the eruption through the use of a Renaissance perspective, leading to a double level of interpretation of the label.
This design uses burnt paper as an overture to the spectacle of Etna. This project for Vuciata was created to tell the story of the splendour of the eruption through the use of a Renaissance perspective, leading to a double level of interpretation of the label.
Three photographic shots were chosen placed in front of several backdrops made of coloured burnt paper pave the way to the black and white pyrotechnic content of the active volcano. In order to produce them, the paper was die-cut, photographed and dry printed with a three-dimensional cliché and finally perforated to reveal the lower image creating a three- dimensional effect.
